Welcome to the first issue of Smaak, a vegetarian food magazine tailor-made for gourmands, gastronomes, and epicures alike. This issue is a two-for-one celebration of our debut and the return of dinner parties following the Covid-19 pandemic. 
If your idea of a 'fancy' dinner in the past few years has involved a lot of lathering up hand sanitizer and awkwardly shouting to your friends six feet away at a picnic, we’ve got you covered. This issue is about entertaining, good food, dinner parties that turn into late-night dance parties and allowing the dripping wax of candles to be your only measure of time.
